Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Manager, Communications will play a central role in enhancing institutional visibility, strengthening brand identity, and driving digital communication efforts. The position involves strategic communication, content development, media engagement, and oversight of digital marketing initiatives in alignment with the School’s academic and research priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Branding
- Develop and execute integrated communications and branding strategies across ATL, BTL, and TTL channels.
- Maintain consistency of messaging and visual identity across all communication outputs.
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Lead digital marketing campaigns, manage paid media, SEO/SEM, and optimize engagement using analytics and insights.
- Oversee content planning and performance tracking across major social media platforms.
Website & Digital Platform Management
- Coordinate and update website content ensuring accuracy, SEO alignment, and audience relevance.
- Strengthen institutional digital presence through data-driven enhancements.
Content Development & Media Relations
- Produce press releases, stories, newsletters, briefs, and other communication products.
- Maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, and external partners.
- Support promotion of academic events, research dissemination, and institutional initiatives.
Visibility, Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor media trends and audience engagement.
- Prepare communication reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of professional experience in communications, digital marketing, public relations, or a creative agency environment.
- Proven expertise in campaign management, data analytics, and multi-platform digital engagement.
- Strong communication skills in both English & Bangla.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/Canva, MS Office, and basic multimedia editing tools.
- Experience working with academia, research institutions, NGOs, or development sector is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Field Research Assistant (FRA)

We are looking for Field Research Assistant for the field data collection for the **“Implementation Research on Childhood Onset Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD) in Two Piloted Districts”** project.
Number of Positions: 12
Locations: Kishoreganj, Bagerhat
Key Responsibilities
- Attend training on methodology, approach, and data collection tools, and ensure adherence to data collection protocols.
- Communicate with the authority to seek permission for data collection.
- Carry out data collection (Survey) through field visits using tablets and data collection software (e.g., KoboTollbox).
- Conduct In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) as required.
- Real-time data entry through tablets using data collection software (e.g., KoboTollbox).
- Organize the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII).
- Take notes and record the responses from the FGD and KII.
- Complete daily reports of progress or activities completed, including communicating challenges faced in data collection and the status of data collection.
- Some other administrative tasks related to implementing the research.
- Adhere to all policies and guidelines of the school.
Educational Requirement
- Completed Bachelor in public health, social science, anthropology, or related field.
- Previous experience in household/facility-based data collection in relevant fields such as non-communicable disease and/or maternal and newborn healthcare services will be highly preferred.
Other Requirements
- Ability to contribute in both quantitative and qualitative data collection.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali.
- Ability to work under pressure and in complex team environments.
- Ability to perform extensive fieldwork.

Project Timeline & Remuneration
Duration: Approximately **1 month**, duration may be extended depending on the project requirement and situations.

Remuneration is as per JPGSPH policy, including:

Research Medical Officer (RMO)

We are looking for a Research Medical Officer (RMO) for the **“Implementation Research on Childhood Onset Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD) in Two Piloted Districts”** project.

Purpose of the Role
Research Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for coordinating and managing field activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and monitoring project progress. The RMO will also handle quantitative data collection, manage IT logistics, store supporting documents, and perform administrative tasks. The role includes developing field plans, distributing work among team members, and communicating effectively with facility authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend training on methodology, approach, and data collection tools, and ensure adherence to data collection protocols.
- Collect quantitative data (facility assessment and observation, observation of care, provider knowledge assessment, and household survey) through all tier-facility visits (from district sadar hospital up to community clinic) by using tablets and data collection software (e.g., KoboToolbox).
- Assist in preparing field plans and guiding the data collectors to collect data.
- Communicate with the relevant authority to seek permission from the facility and effective rapport building with facility administrators, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth data collection processes.
- Plan facility assessments in various healthcare settings, from district level to community clinic, and maintain regular communication with the field coordinator.
- Real-time data entry through tablets using data collection software (e.g., KoboToolbox).
- Complete daily reports of progress or activities completed, including communicating challenges faced in data collection and the status of data collection.
- Some other administrative and project-related tasks for implementing the research.
- Regular communication regarding troubleshooting and any other field issues with the field coordinator and other team members.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines throughout the data collection process, ensuring the rights and privacy of participants are respected.
- Adhere to all policies and guidelines of the school.
Requirements/Qualification
- **MBBS**, preferably with Master of Public Health (MPH).
- Previous experience in facility assessment survey/healthcare research will be preferred.
Other Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in **English and Bengali**.
- Understanding of healthcare systems, research methodology, and clinical practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and in complex team environments.
- Ability to perform extensive travel and fieldwork, across different districts of all the administrative divisions of Bangladesh to oversee and support project implementation.
